They say for every one complaint there are tens of satisfied customers who never bother to voice their satisfaction. I had placed an order to CMMG for a 20" lightweight flattop upper with 'F' FSB, tac latch, YHM A2 flip sights, and FA BCG. I called and inquired what the turnaround would likely be. I was told "about three weeks." Two weeks later TO THE DAY of placing my order, I received my order, which was filled to the 'T.' My new upper is now resting happily on an A2 lower I built on a stripped CMMG lower with a CMMG/CMT hybrid parts kit. Fit and finish are outstanding. I would not hesitiate to do business with CMMG again. With the way the SCAR/ACR outlook is right now, it may not be long before that happens. -A satisfied customer |

I will agree the exact same. I to have had great service from CMMG. And there fit and finish is OUTSTANDING! I emailed asking status of my order on day 15 (15 days after I got an email saying my ..."upper was going into production allow 14-21 days to ship") I received an email back within the hour saying I was scheduled to ship the next day (16-17 days after it "went into production") What do you know I get a tracking number that next day. And today my upper came in. PERFECT exactly what I ordered. Havnt gotten a chance to shoot it yet, but it fit down on my CMMG Lower perfectly. http://www.dirtroad4x4.com/bdz71/fire/DSC00993-2.jpg |
No filings on mine. It would make sense if they were there from the taper pin holes. Did the filings brush off or is the finish around the area rough? |
