I own a bunch of RRA AR's, that is the only brand in my collection....I have started to look at the LMT and after much reading and looking, I do agree they are more than likely on the best, if not the best out there...

I found a LMT MRP, CAR length, with SOPMOD stock, for $1695....does that sound reasobable, complete rifle...

Complete LMT lowers w/ SOPMOD can be had for $450.  So I'd say to continue looking around.

I really don't understand LMT's superiority, but it's your choice.

The upper sells on LMT's website for $1089, I believe.  LMT SOPMOD lowers run from $427-$539, depending on trigger, pistol grip type options.  Hope that helps.

$1089 is without the BCG

Good price. I would say that if the rifle is immediately available, and you have the funds, grab it. You will not regret it.

If I assemble the same rifle on the LMT website, I am above $1700, with the BCG....

I will look around....the LMT I am looking at in the gun store has been there for a while, not many people are standing in line for a $1700 AR.....after all, this is the pric for 2 other brands....

But a little voice in my head that has a worst case of BRD, says I should get it....

That is LMT LE/MIL pricing for that unit, if the seller purchased it as a complete rifle. Retail is $1,776 if purchased complete.
