I have a brand new 6.8 upper from stag arms. It shoots great but one problem HEAT. I shot 20 rounds (slowly) put it down, walked down to inspect the damage from my new gun, then started again. The only difference is that this time i rapid fired 20 rounds. After doing this i noticed that the barrel was so damn hot it burned my hand (not "owe it hurt" but "holy shit" and my hand had a bright red line in my palm from touching it). It was so hot that wiping spit on it caused it to steam off imediately. ![]() Is this normal? I have never had this problem shooting my 5.56. I was shooting remington corelock 6.8. just curious if i should be concerned |
