| I am about to buy my first AR and I was looking into Del-ton or J&T. I hear that they both sell good products, but I have heard problems with backorder or shipping. I was wondering if I should stick with Del-Ton, but I don't want to wait for backorder. Thankshoma |
Del-Ton is the way to go brother. great customer service and fast shipping too. you won't be disappointed. good luck w/ the build |
| I've bought parts from J&T and a kit from Del-Ton and i wouldn't hesitate to deal with either company again in a heartbeat. I'd also say each has it's advantages. The lower parts kits that J&T sells seem to be of higher quality than Del-Tons in terms of pin fit etc. However when you order a Del-Ton kit the options you can add are cheaper than anywhere else. When i got my kit from them i added a Magpul CTR for $60 and an RRA NM2 trigger group for $80. The same options from other "kit" manufacturers such as J&T are significantly more expensive. |

DEL-TON: Ordered my midlength kit two days ago. called and confirmed the availability of parts before I ordered. My order shipped out today. Wonderful people to deal with... and wonderful southern accents =) As far as quality>---- we'll see when it gets here eh? =) |

They are the $#!+ I ordered a lower, they told me 4 to 6 weeks. I wasn't in a hurry so I didn't care too much. Got an email 4 days later on a friday saying it had already shipped. Called them back to verify on monday. Picked it up from my FFL on tuesday. Great company to do business with and their lower fits tighter on all my uppers than the OEM lowers. I talked to the girl on the phone and she told me that they doubled the work force added a shift and are working saturdays to meet demand which she said had tripled. You will not be disappointed!! |
