Any ideas on a good quality form fitting hard case for a mid-length AR-15?  Thanks.

I got my Pelican 1700, with foam, for about $150 or so from CASECLUB

I could not be more happy.

However, you do have to cut the foam

What if I have a different profile, like no GI front sight?  I've got a flat-top.

+ on the pelican for a hard case.  2 costly for me.  I use the Galati soft cases and have been very happy so far.
