[ARCHIVED THREAD] - red dot mounting ???
Posted:

in the last month my dpms has gone from this
to this
In a few weeks i plan on buying an aimpoint ml2, so what i want to know is with
my current set up is it possable to get a co-witness with the aimpoint and the rear site?
because on the red dot I am using now i can not because when I look through the rear site
I can not see the front site because the bottom lip of the red dot is in the way. and without
the riser the red dot is worthless.

Just get a Larue Cantaliever mount and you will line up just fine with an Aimpoint.

The non-cantilever Larue mount (LT-150 I think but I'm not positive) will also work. It gives me a lower-third cowitness.
