I just got done installing a MIAD grip, but after reading the instructions several times, it never mentions installing the pin that secures the backstrap to the main grip.  I see the hole, I have an extra pin, the pin matches the hole....I guess I figured I would ask first, hammer later type of a situation.  Im just a bit stummped why the instructions didnt mention it.  Perhaps its just that obvious?

Also, did anyone experience a little bit of a gap between the backstrap and the main grip?  It seems to match up prior to putting it on the rifle, but then when everything it tight, a small gap forms.  Nothing too major, but its there.

When I ordered the grip I got the "Full Kit" thinking i might like the enhanced trigger gaurd to be dark earth, like the grip.  After it arrived, I decided that I like the look of the black enhanced trigger gaurd, and the fact its made from a little bit more durable material.  If there is anyone out there who is needing the front strip with enhanced trigger gaurd in dark earth, gimme a holla.  I dont think I will be needing it for anyhing.

The dark earth transformation begins....

My guess is that it's so when you decide which back-strap fits you
best, you could use the pin to make it somewhat more permanent.
