i figured i'd share since i had a hard time finding pictures of the MI Gen2 SS handguard. i just put the handguard on yesterday so dont make fun of my tacticool ziptie!
specs: all factory bushmaster 16in barrel, carbine length gas system. front BUIS is a magpul, back BUIS is i dont remember its so old. eotech 550 i think? its old too. MI Gen2 SS free float handguard 15in AA 762 sdn6 suppressor. light will be added in the near future

I'm new to the community and these arms; here's my first 5.56 (I've since picked up a 2nd).
I purchased it new as a M4A3 with a carry handle. I swapped out the stock for a Magpul CTR, Magpul Sites co-witnessed to a Bushell TRS-25, Hogue grip, low profile gas, Daniels 9" floating hand grip and an advanced armament flash blackout hider. It is a joy to use.

The first two ARs I ever owned. Don't own them anymore but I wish I did. First one is a 6.8 SPC, and the second is my M16A4 clone I built up. I paid $750 for the 20" HBAR Bushmaster from Aim Surplus 5 years ago. Wish I never sold it. . . . .

100 yards
55gr pmc 223 3x9 nikon I played around with my zero on the center target then started shooting. No cool down time. I'm more than happy with the results. With a better [lighter] trigger, I think 1" is very possible.

I have Troy irons in the bin, but really, I just don't see the need for them on this one. She is freaking heavy enough.

Well here is my Bushy and yes I love her, some say she has a bad reputation but I don't care because she loves me back. I found her all alone on a shelf in a small local gun store the other AR'S didn't want to be with her, she came from the wrong side of "THE CHART" my heart sank. She looked sad and lonely she has heard others talking about her. So I politely asked if I could hold her and she said, yes. Before I even had her in my arms I had a feeling of excitement. Once she was in my arms I felt her smooth cold finish, manipulated her inner parts and gazed upon her fit and finish. I knew she was the one for me. I could have spent two, three or even four hundred more for another but I couldn't put her down. I knew my heart belonged to her, I paid the $800 and she was mine for as long as I wanted her to be. Although I loved her just the way she was I did want to get her a few things that would only add to her beauty. She was only to happy to receive what I wanted to give her. Below is the list of gifts she has received. When she put on the gifts I bought her she was beaming with happiness we are both very happy. We have truly cemented our bound in eternal love. She was so happy because some of the gifts have checked off several of the need to have items on the infamous "CHART". When we go to the range now other AR'S will look at her and speak to her and even ask to hold her. I enjoy watching them touching her and manipulating her I see the look they have on their face and can see they like her, even thou some try not to admit they do. I can see them start to feel a little bit of what we have between us and that's when I have to take her back into my arms. I am proud to say I love her and would walk into any room with her on my arm. Well this is for you my friend, my love, my Bushy......

Brand new, never-fired Carbon 15 ORC straight out of the box. Bud's is taking zero responsibility for selling such a godawful rifle, and Bushmaster refuses to acknowledge that there is a very serious reliability issue with their polymer receivers. Anybody want a good deal on a "used" Carbon15 so I can buy myself a real rifle? |

It's a Carbon 15 receiver set. That's just an effect of the flash on the polymer. Pic thread, older pic.

Ban Era Bushmaster XM15 E2S A3 - that I purchased in December 2002 with a fixed collapsible stock and mini Y comp that I have de-banned since then. Added the new rail, stock and trigger over Christmas which replaced the Magpul MOE carbine handguard, MOE carbine stock, and BM trigger group.
