[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Upper identification help

Bought a complete 22 upper at a Houston Area gun show last weekend, it has a KEY HOLE looking symbol on the right side behind the shell deflector. What make would this be?? Any help appreciated, thanks in advance.

The keyhole is the mark for Cerro Forge, the manufacturer of the raw forging. Several manufacturers buy forgings from Cerro, so without more info its not possible to tell.

Manufacturers such as Colt and Bushmaster use Cerro forgings.
