| Im new to the AR's , very recently got a Fulton varmit model and Ive been trying to figure out a non critical nuisance. When Im running from the magazine the follow up cases always are heavily sooted up. This doesnt hurt them but I wonder of its effects on accuracy. Ive added a weight to the carrier but it doesnt seem to have made a difference. Single loads are unaffected. Im primarily target shooting at this point. Any ideas or suggestions? |
| Handloads, well up in the recommended ranges, Varget, H4895, brigadier 3032 with any of a number of 55gr bullets. The 3032 is fairly fast and the varget's on the slower end, but all three soot the magazine delivered cases. Its a s though the next round is in the chamber before all the barrel pressure is disipated and the soot blows into the chamber. ??? |
