Is anyone making a 5.45X39 upper for an AR? Its about the cheapest ammo around now. Thanks! |

Nothing off the shelf. Just custom jobs. People reporting various results. I had one done by a friend from a chrome lined Bulgarian AK74 barrel and so far it runs great. In full auto also as I'm using a RDIAS. I only had about 100 rounds of the ammo that a friend gave me as I wasn't going to buy it if I couldn't use it. I've got several cases coming today though.  I also plan on trying it with my Ares Gas Piston kit at a later point also. Here is a pic of mine.
