You will likely hear mostly bad hearsay about their products, and lots bad about CS from years ago. They've been sold to new management, and I saw their stuff at a show. I bought a resale which had a Wilson 1:8 SS HBAR and YHM FF. No idea about components, but staking was not good on carrier, so I did it myself. Trigger was typical mil. Ran like a champ for maybe 3-400 rounds--zero malfunctions--but I wanted a lighter gun, so I sold it for what I paid. There are many choices out there, so you'd have to get a great deal for it to be recommended. Edit: I've also read the LMT rumors from way back, but can't say. My lower was very nice looking, but current owners say their lowers take commercial stock, and the threads on mine also looked commercial. |
| They originally bought their lowers from LMT and those are good. (ETA: Originally meaning back around Y2K before anybody really knew who LMT was) Then LMT stopped suppying them and they went to another supplier. Now they are under new management and I have no idea where they get their lowers. |
