Mine is not bad at all with LMT upper and a Global tactical Lower. A little wiggle is normal and no need to worry about it. If it shoots fine you are GTG.

Yeah its hard to explain how much play there is. I guess you have to test it out yourself.

I installed the LMT upper on other lowers I have BM, Mega and all have the same amount of loose play.

I took my LMT lower and put different uppers I own and get a great fit.

Would like to here from others that have complete LMT rifles.

Thanks!

Just checked 4 different LMT uppers on two different lowers and all fit pretty tightly. A little wiggle but nothing I would consider excessive.

Just stuck an LMT upper on my GTS lower (serial number under 100) and it is the best fit I have. No accuwedge needed.

Mine are all pretty loose.  I have 5 LMT lowers now, and only one upper, and they're loose in any configuration.  AND I don't care.

I have a factory built LMT. The first thing I noticed was the fit. Its the best fit I've ever seen. The upper closes perfectly and it has no play.

Same here. Perfect fit and no play whatsoever. Unreal.

My MRP rifle length & MRP CQB are both very tight.  They are both on LMT lowers.  One on Defender and one on Guardian.  I did swap out the CQB onto a Mega and it also is tight.

My complete LMT upper and lower fits about above average there's a very slight but not noticeable movement but way better than my two Colts which I consider average fit with a slight play.

Tight fit for me is my RRA upper and lower, I have to use a plastic punch but no hammer to push the takedown pins.

OK, Thanks everyone who replied to this thread!!

I'm just going to have to replace the upper with a LMT CQB 16" Piston Upper

There is a small amount of play between my LMT 14.5in upper and Defender 2000 lower.  All I need for disassembly are my thumbs.

My LMT MRP CQB has no noticable movement.
