Looking for some expert advice....

I've got a Colt H-Bar Match Target Competition 20". I'm thinking of getting another upper for it...probably 16", probably a RRA stainless Varmint.

Are their any issues regarding mating the two (no puns please hat
Thanks!

I have no issues with mine. Pretty much all new production uppers fit.

I think it's triggers that really get you, with non-standard hole sizes.

No problems as long as it is not a sear block lower.  Sear block Colt lowers require either a half circle bolt carrier or a grinding/milling off job on the sear block.

Not true. A full circle one is fine, just not an M16 type carrier with the implanted sear block.

Yep, mine has the block and civilian bolts all work.

Standard pins?  If is the Colt kind you will need an upper from Daniel Defense.

Why do you say that?  I've heard others say that before too, but I've put full bolts in my colt lower with the sear block and they function just fine.
