Nice build.

Just out of curiosity, I thought that in CA. you couldn't have rifles with a detachable magazine anymore???  I thought I heard that somewhere on this site awhile back.  Maybe I'm totally off base and misunderstood.

Yeahh forgot to add that my Build has a fixed mag which is called a bullet button which can only release the mag with a tip of a bullet or small tool of that size. But i cannot release the mag with my finger alone.. And its no so much of a hassle but its a great alternative . Cant wait to shoot it

Very nice rifle!

I didn't know about the bullet tip release thing.  That's much better than the fixed mag option!

Nicely done.

Your next mod should be straightening that face plate on your electrical socket.

Congratulations!

It is however, a little weird that someone who has been a member since 2002 is only now buying their first AR. Although, maybe not since you are in the PRK.

Nevertheless, good job and I hope you have taken this time to amass a serious amount of ammo.

Congrats, looks good.

I can't help but wonder about those crazy rules. I'm still shaking my head in disbelief. My condolences for enduring the bans.

Nice work out there on the front lines of the fight for freedom.

That is one sweet rifle.

Somebody needs to make a shooters glove that has a track and field spike attached to the middle fingertip so you can use it to release the magazines.

Many of us bought our first rifles assembled.  Sometimes it takes a while for the bug to fully infect an arfcommer into building their own.

Nice work on the rifle.

tell me about it.. They banned the .50 BMG for no reason where not one person has died from a .50BMG in KALI...

People over at the calguns forums have actually been asking about it and i think its a great idea and to the extent to the law is legal.. But others seem it might be pushing it.. You just never know in this Commie state .The closest think we got to that is a dummy 5.56 round that is attached to a retractable badge reel up to 30"

i attached mine to my chest rig so its easily accesible

thanx guys for the Comments... I truly now have EBR DISEASE!!

That sure is pretty. Just out of curiousity; are you allowed to have the regular mag release and hi-cap mags laying around in case of TEOCAWKI( The End Of Ca As We Know It) or is that considered intent

it is totally legal to have the regular mag release just laying around  just cannot install it.. there was a letter from the CA DOJ where they said that it is legal to have a regular lower reciever as long as its ALL Disassembled but once u put that regular mag release its considered an AW . But yes its totally fine to have it laying around and NOT installed and just laying around hypothetically speaking for a TEOCAWKI or teotwawki.

As for the Hi Cap mags this is how it works , if your rifle has a fixed mag u cannot have more than 10 rounds in the mag. But if u want detachable mags u can use the hi cap ones but u cannot not have a pistol grip nor any evil features such as  FH , collapsble stock or a forward pistol grip.  And we cannot buy anymore pre-ban mags.. If we had 4 pre ban hi cap mags before the ban i can only have 4 for the rest of my life no more.. and i think the only way to rebuild them is to send them out or buy them out of state and bring them over DISSASEMBLED, but can only have 4 at the end of the rebuild and have to destroy the rest of the mags or leave them dissasembled. And btw our barrels can only be 16" long and overall length of the rifles has to be 30" ..  Hope i explained it well.

Freakin hate this damn commie state
