On the AR platform are all the bolts interchangable with out work?

Just reading it seems having a compleate bolt assy on hand is a good idea. On the M1A many bolts are lapped to the barrel for head spacing.

This an issue with AR's?

Carriers i wouldn't mind, get yourself some headspace gauges when swapping bolts on a used AR. If it headspaces you are gtg
