I'm stuck. I'm looking for a good optic device for my AR...but I'm not going to spend more than the gun will cost. I've settled on either the DMS-1 or the XTS-135. The Millet is variable between 1x and 4x and the Burris is a 1x...don't care if its not a true 1x or not. I would prefer the Millet because of the ability to zoom in on a target that is further out than 100 yards. The question I have is mainly for the people that own the DMS-1. I have handled the XTS and like the ability to pick it right up and get almost instant target acquisition. Is the DMS the same way or do you have to focus through it more like a standard scope???? I would like the 2, 3, and 4x power, but not if I have to sacrifice being able to just throw the gun up and shoot. I wish a gun shop would have the DMS in stock, but no luck around these parts. Please respond so I can put this dilemma to rest. Thanks in advance. Any information will help. |
