I've got an upper that I'm trying to figure out. The upper is T-marked and has the keyhole over the forward end of the forward assist. There are feedramps in the barrel extension, but not cut into the upper itself. The barrel is completely unmarked, not even for cartridge or twist. It's a 14.5" with permanent A2. It looks to be medium contour, and does not look like a turned-down HBAR. The contour is the same forward and behind the gas block. It's fluted, both forward and behind the gas block, with six evenly-spaced cuts. The front sight block appears to be standard milspec, and is marked on the right side with "4BI2" or "4B12." There is no bayonet lug. Any guesses? |
