I've heard that Colt BCG's have extremely good reputation for quality due to Colt following the TDP and doing MP testing, etc. (does that always include a proof round?). However, companies quality can fluctuate over time, and my question is, were they building to the same high standards back in 1994? (I have a Colt Match Target Competition HBAR from that time) How were the BCG's back then? Were there any time periods to avoid when the quality was worse? My bolt is marked "MPC" and the Carrier is marked "C" M and P is for Magnetic Test and Proof round, right? But what is the C for? Should I consider this an excellent BCG, or would a LMT, Young, or Bravo Company BCG be a step up? Thanks. |
Thanks. The entire BCG is black, no visible chrome. It appears parkerized or has some other black coating. So does the C mean that just the inside of the BCG is chromed? Or is it all chromed, but with a black treatment? |
Ok, great, thanks! |
