Hey Guys,

Went shooting the other day, after I came home, I noticed when I would pulled back on the charging handle I would hear a binding noise. At first I wasn't sure what it was until I removed the buffer spring, and buffer. I noticed that the roll pin that holds the rubber plug into the body of the buffer was protruding and scraping the inside of the buffer tube. This has happened once before. Any idea on a fix for it? I tapped the pin back in, but this problem may arise again.

Replace the buffer.

There in lies the problem. The buffer has less than 300 rounds through it...strange.

Bad part - it happens.  You could try to screw around with super glue or get a larger diameter roll pin, but why bother just get a new buffer.

Use a punch to flare the ends of the roll pin.
