I just built my first AR in 5.56. Now I want one in .308. For my 5.56 I paid $85 for my lower receiver and $450 for my complete rifle kit, and $10 each for some mags. Also put a scope on it for about $80. What can I find for the .308 price wise, doesn't have to be anything fancy just a standard .308? Also where do I find this stuff?

.308 is a different game than the 5.56 weapons. I think you would have a hard time finding anything at more than double the 5.56 prices.

You'd be better off just buying a complete rifle from a Manu than to build one in 308. Not enough compitetion to make it cheaper to build/asseble compared to the 556 version and prices.

I agree with stickman every time I want one, I end up building another AR15.
