[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Need some advice

Went to the gun shop near my office today, and bought a 20 round bushnell mag for my A2. I live in NY, and the shop is in NY, and the owner assured me that the mag is NY compliant.

When I get home, I take the mag out of the plastic, and notice that it is stamped 4-07. Is this what I think it is ? and should I return the mag if it is ?

The last thing that I need in my life is to end up in the clink over an illegal mag.

Any thoughts other then "Send it to me...I'll save you from going to prison".

Unless it was made in April of 1907 I think you have a 20 round felony.

I'd take it back, get my money back and buy a magazine off the EE here. Hopefully there is not a cop evil enough to arrest you on the way back to the gunshop
