[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Help ID barrel

I have a upper with an 24" stainless bull barrel marked 228 s. Does anyone have any idea what this is???? That is the only marking stamped on it.

it sounds like a rock river arms 24 inch varmint barrel, 1:8 twist stainless.

That's one of ours if that marking is stamped just forward of the extension over the chamber area. Should be a 1:8 24" stainless bull barrel (AR0228).
