Am I the only one who feels like I have to have 2 complete rifles in each set up I choose? It's like, if I buy a certain rifle I need another one just like it as a back up...like they expire or something! It's like having the worst side effect of the black rifle disease. Oh well, I guess I'm not blowing my money on crap that doesn't matter. Thinking of my collection as "homeland defense" let's me sleep at night...even with an empty wallet.

haven't been diagnosed with  that symptom of BRD yet.  Right  now I am suffering from retroSBRitis.  It's terminal

My case of BRD requires me to have 1 of every set up that I can think of - right now I am sitting on 9 complete AR's with the plans for 5 more - why?  I have no idea.  The damn things are just begging for more company.  BAck when I had only 1 AR - I shot the shit out of it - now it hard to get enough trigger time behind each gun and ammo prices are out of control...

Could be alot worse, the Ban is over.. I remember paying $500.00+ for stripped lowers .. Now at under $100.00 in some cases it is easy to become addicted..

Two of each doesn't sound like a bad idea. With the Dems coming into the White House soon it just might be a good idea to give some consideration to the get them while you can philosophy.

Excuse me please while I get my tinfoil hat.

I don't know how many different AR configs you have and depending on what they were I doubt I personally would feel the need to have 2 of each of them. That said, I do think having 2 and maybe even 3 copies of your primary HD AR makes a ton of sense.

I've made the decision to make all of my carbine set-ups the same configuration.  They may have slightly different pieces, like grip, stock and FF, but the sights, optics and triggers will soon all be the same.
