I'm new here and new to AR shooting. I am considering buying a Bushmaster Predator. I was wondering if any of you have one and what kind of accuracy I can expect. Thanks |

Hornady 75gr BTHPM Varget 23.3 gr CCI-400 2.25 OAL The above produced .43" mean radius (see: Trouble With 3-shot Groups) out of my predator at 100 yards (10 shots from a bench, bipod with rear sandbag). I have purchased some better reloading equipment along with a chronograph over Christmas and hope to improve on that further. If you are not into reloading try factory Black Hills 75gr Match if you can afford it. I put 100 rounds through my rifle and it loved it. I only tried it out to 500 yards as that is the limit at my local range, but it was the best factory ammo I have tried. I ordered mine without the standard black bushmaster aluminum handguard... just not a fan, and put on my own railed handguard. Without the handguard it ran me about $900 if I remember. |
