I'm new here and new to AR shooting.

I am considering buying a Bushmaster Predator. I was wondering if any of you have one and what kind of accuracy I can expect.

Thanks

I have seen some awesome results from the Predator.

1/2 MOA is no hard task, ammo withstanding.

The local shop keeps one on the wall most of the time. (good price too)

Hornady 75gr BTHPM
Varget 23.3 gr
CCI-400
2.25 OAL

The above produced .43" mean radius (see: Trouble With 3-shot Groups) out of my predator at 100 yards (10 shots from a bench, bipod with rear sandbag). I have purchased some better reloading equipment along with a chronograph over Christmas and hope to improve on that further.

If you are not into reloading try factory Black Hills 75gr Match if you can afford it. I put 100 rounds through my rifle and it loved it. I only tried it out to 500 yards as that is the limit at my local range, but it was the best factory ammo I have tried.

I ordered mine without the standard black bushmaster aluminum handguard... just not a fan, and put on my own railed handguard. Without the handguard it ran me about $900 if I remember.

Not to rub it in or anything! She's getting sub-moa feeding on Black Hills 68Gr blue box.  Get one, you won't regret it!

The shop I deal with, Rockingham Coop, can do $1150ish. Less if you know me . That's below where the market is around here. Look me up if you need more info.
