| Ok I'm not trying to start a war here, I just noticed the price similarities between the two manufactueres and was wondering the pros and cons of each. I own a Bushy and my buddy just bought a Rock River. Thanks. |
This is good to know. I love my RRA lower, and I love my Bushmaster barrel. I Have had no problems at all with this combo. The best of both worlds. |
| I have both, and they both shoot and look pretty much the same. Biggest difference is the RRAs have two-stage triggers, and the Bushmaster has a pretty good single-stage trigger. Both RRAs and my Bushmaster have chrome lined barrels, interchange completely, are the same exact color, and function perfectly. |
Your sig line has never been so appropriate! But back on topic. I haven't fired a Rock River, but have nadled them, and from what I can tell they are both about the same. |
Bewsides which, Colt never made an AR mag in their entire history. They are, and have always been, made by outside contractors.
|
| Better barrel steel in Bushmaster, their m-4gery barrels are all light under the handguards (that may be true of RRA now, not sure, they do offer barrels that are light under the handguards) and the barrels are chrome lined standard. With RRA going to MAP (dealers are forced to list high prices by the company) RRA is a lot less appealing since you have to call around to find a decent price on one. |
