Damn damn, triple damn! While changing the buttstock, somehow I lost the rear take down detent pin....I have looked everywhere,it is lost.

Where can someone buy the pin? I know CMMG has a pin kit for $19.95(which I may get)but does any place just sell the pins seperately?

Dremel off a small piece of a finishing nail for now. Then get yourself a parts kit.

How did you lose the pin..... "normally" it stays put when swapping buttstocks. you just have to watch and not fubar the spring where its sticking out.

some put a dab of grease on them to keep them in their hole. I dont but Ive seen it done

Stag LPKs normally come with an extra detent pin and spring or 2.

In the past I was always careful of the spring and pin, but I changed the stock in haste just before I left for work two days ago,5:40 am,just didn't think about it I guess, plain stupidity on my part.

0.328in long, 0.091in OD. Go buy a cheap drill bit and make one. taper one end on a grinder or sander.
Or hit your drill index, worked for me.

Becaue this is easy to do,  It is a good idea to have a spare parts kits.  I have my little parts each in a tiny ziplock bag with a label in each bag.  The baggies in a plastic box so none get lost.
