I ordered about 20 C products 30 Round AR mags earlier this year and about 8 of them have split at the rear seam welds has anyone else experienced this with their mags?

Post a pic and see what you are talking about.  Something you might think is a problem might not be a problem.

I bought 4 C Products 30 round stainless mags last year, and they all came with rusted springs.  The factory finally sent replacement springs, after 2 phone calls.

Get Pmags!

I think you probably have the Chrome Silica (sp) springs.  They tend to pick up a little rust film.  Don't think it hurts anything.  Wipe em off with a cloth and you should be fine.

My 60+ C products mags are 100% reliable. Slight surface rust on the springs won't hurt their function at all so I would not worry about it. Call them and let them make it right.

The rust on the springs are because they are chrome silicon springs.  It's on their website that they have a surface rust but it won't rush through or affect the spring.  I'm OCD so I took a CLP patch and wiped the springs down then wiped it down again with a dry patch.  I've got some range mags that have the surface rust on them and I have been watching them to see if the rust gets any worse and after a year nothing else and no effect on the spring.

I have a dozen of the 30 round C product mags.  About two weeks ago I loaded a full mag only to have about the first 8 rounds come shooting out the top.  I found the seam had split near the top portion of the mag.  I emailed C-product.  They said no problem just send it back for a replacement.  I said not worth me spending $6 to get a $12 replacement mag.  They sent me there UPS number to ship on their dime.  I'll let you know when I get my replacement.
