I am thinking about purchasing a POF M4 Carbine. However, I have recently seen some people reporting quality problems with POF. What is the view of those that actually own a newer POF rifle ? |

I have the gen1 POF and the newer so called Gen2 POF. Both have never had any problems. The newer gen seems to be a bit more refined with the fancy billet lower, the piston system is slightly different and I beleive that POF may be using a different size gas port. There is less recoil in the newer model. There have been some chamber issues that I have seen on here lately. I think that POF is working on another type of barrel to correct these chamber sizing problems. As far as being great weapons , I love both of mine and they are very reliable and accurate.
