I don't know if this has ever been discussed before but, I was given some info about a part from Brownels that would improve the trigger . It is a replacement screw that goes into the pistol grip, that has another screw inside it, for pushing up on the back of the trigger for taking the creep out. Well because I own a Colt with a sear block it won't work. So I figured out a way for doing the same thing with out removing the block which is a major PITA. Basically you drill a hole behind the trigger guard through to the inside on a slight angle so you can install a small set screw that will contact the underside of the trigger. I adjusted it after applying Loctite blue to the thread so it won't move. If any one is interested I will send pictures and any info. I also stoned the trigger surface with an arkansa hard to a mirro finish. Put it all back together, made a huge difference in the trigger pull. |
