Hi all, been lurking here for some time, looking for my answer but have not seen it and can't find in search--so do you replace the cotter pin retaining the firing pin with a real pin or not, thanks in advance for your help.

Never seen the cotter pin fail, personally. Although I'm sure it has happpened to someone here before....
