I was suprised that the BCH on a new used upper was not marked with a "C".  Does anyone know if the BCHs with the HBARs came w/o a "c" stamp?

Is it a full circle carrier or half circle?ive seen unmarked FA carriers but usualy on the Colt a C is stamped on the left side...bolt marked MPC?

Look at the carrier from the rear is it a circles or is it in half from the bottom rear of the carrier being shaved down..this was done to clear the late model lower Colt receiver block. The bolt near the lugs would be marked MPC if was a Colt Bolt.

no markings on the bolt either.  anyone know for sure that this is not a Colt bolt and/or carrier or is it possible that Colt had sold the hbar uppers/rifles w/o markings on the bolt?

IIRC, my now-departed Colt sporter  HBar had a 'C' on the bolt carrier.

My reference, "Black Rifles II" implies that all bolts and carriers for HBARs were marked--the markings vary depending on several factors, but they should all be marked.
