[ARCHIVED THREAD] - NEED SOURCE FOR SP-1 DISCONNECT

My sp-1 started double tapping a couple of years ago and the board said "file down the bottom". I did and F&hl#@ the thing up. Now I have a sp-1 trigger and no disconnect. I did post the info for the disconnect, but no one knew what it was "I forgot it was for a sp-1". Now I'am looking for a sp-1 disconnect so I can use the trigger.
Anyone have a source it would help.

The trigger in my sp1 will allow a disconnector spring to be put in both the sp1 postion and the second location which allows a standard ar15 disconnector installed instead of an sp1 type.

You mean the tail-less disconnector?

Yep, just go to specialized armament and get a new trigger and disconnector. Solves the problem and keeps it all colt.

Thanks to all.
I have a pot of triggers and springs, but I am putting the old girl back like she was when we were both young. Shes 34 and I'am 66 and I expect she will last a lot longer then I will.
