I was wondering how many out there have a jp tension pin, and if they think it is worth the money?

Just got my first AR-15, an ArmaLite M15A4(T) and I would like to make it a serious bench rest gun.

Thanks much, BrainShake

It's more of a "feel-good" part than anything. It won't help the gun shoot any better....even a bench gun. However, if you will shoot better if you think the gun feels better, go for it. They do what they're supposed to.

I have a rifle with one(cause I'm anal) and I find myself not shooting it much because I don't want to clean it. The KNS pins aren't removable without tools.

I had one for a while. It does work very well, but needing a screwdriver and an allen key to open my gun got old fast. I  just swapped uppers and lowers with another AR and the fit was much better. I would only use it again if the fit was really, really sloppy. It's overpriced at $40 IMHO.
