I've got an A1 upper that I'm thinking about selling but I have no clue what to ask.  Its marked FNMI MP Chrome bore on the barrel and theres an L and an M under the rear site.  Its in good shape and shoots well.

What length and gas system? How many rounds approx.? With the BCG or without?

I paid $200 for my Colt A1 20 inch complete upper without BCG.

That seems about the going rate, $300 with BCG

20" barrel, standard gas system.  If it was important to the buyer I'd sell the BCG with it.

Not sure on the round count.

I agree....this is the 'going rate'.

Thanks, any idea of what make this is by the markings?  It came on an EA lower but the finish on the upper looks standard military.

It's a FN military take-off. Kinda rare.

Rest assured, it is NOT an FN barrel.

The marking "FNMI MP Chrome bore" is an old marking that colt had on ver yearly M16 pencil barrels prior to the now widely known  "C MP" markings.

It is old and the already given prices of around $200 minus B/C/CH are correct.

These barrels were made before FN knew what an M16 even was.

I've seen the gun shows around here selling Colt 20" Gov profile A2 uppers for $250-300 w/o BCG. I never bought into them but I may this weekend if I see one. Granted it better be in great shape or I walk away and buy more ammo/mags.
