Gents

Save up a few dollars and am finally able to buy my first AR.I am a newbie so I have a few questions.

1. I like the Bushmaster brand and am most likely going to go with that brand. It
seems to get good reviews in the gun mags. Do you guys agree as to reliability and
   quality.

2. Most of my shooting will be at 200 yds and in. I like the look of the collapsible stock
with 16" barrel. Am I giving up a lot of accuracy and velocity with a shorter barrel?
Should I stick with the 20" barrel and fixed stock.

3. Is 2 moa accuracy a reasonable expectation with the Bushmaster in either length with
a decent scope? I like the ACOG set up and will most likely go with that.

4. Are rails on the front handgrip difficult to add on yorself or is it a gunsmith job.

Guys I appreciate your help. We hosted an AR-!5 shoot at my club awhile back and I got the bug so I want to buy one. Just looking for some guidance.

Thanks

1.  Bushmaster isn't bad but I think there are much better choices out there.  Try to do some more reading on this site before making a purchase.  You may find some info that help you make a decision you might me happier with.

2.  A quality 16" barrel is more than accurate enough at 200 yards.

3.  Can't say for sure.

4.  Very simple to do.
