Will it help with accuracy even if there is no play between the reciever halves?
Will cause stress or any kind of problems to the reciever?

You don't need it, even if you had a little play between your upper and lower.

Totaly worthless unless your a bench whore.  If you need to break the rifle down or have a misfire or whatever you will need an allen wrench to unlock the pin.  Better off using an acuwedge.

I don’t think you need it.  If the wiggle between your upper and lower is not excessive consider it “not broke, don’t fix it”.  I think you would benefit more by putting that money toward a good trigger or ammo.

If you are still concerned about it try an Accu-Wedge, as Wolf has already mentioned.
