Why does Bushmaster sell XM15-E2S and the gun is stamped "Restricted Law Enforcement Government Use Only" It's a semi auto M4 stlye AR...what's so special about it that they stamp this on the side??? Maybe it fetches another $100 or so??

They were stamped that way during the Assault weapons ban. Now the Ban is over so Civilians can buy rifles with Collapsible stocks and Flash suppressors.

You will find magazines that say that also. But you can own them.

Thanks, I knew it something somewhat simple...how soon we (I) forget about those heady days some call the Assualt Weapons Ban. Geez, makes you feel safer just saying it doesn't it?
