If I build a SBR with this size upper. can I use the standard CAR buffer and spring or do I need to use the Pistol Buffer in the CAR tube and stock?

When I run the 7.5" uppers on my M16 I don't change anything in the lower.

DavidC, what kind of accuracy do you get out of that thing? Looking for 50-100 yard range.

It's accurate at 25 yards on the indoor range, and I can hit 6" steel plates at 100 yards, but it's mainly just a toy.  I have a Noveske 10.5" for short-barrel accuracy.

Cool. I was thinking about doing a 7.5" upper for LEO use. We qualify at 100, 50 and 25 yards. Just wanted to see about the accuracy issue first.
