I am aware that the Timney Triggers had an issue where some installations managed to double (or more) in use and that they came out with a newer version to correct this. Can anyone tell me what to look for to tell which version I have?

Just got mine 2 months ago,and I like it a lot and it has been trouble free(600 rounds so far ) if you call Timney they can tell you if it is a gen 1 or 2 and I'll bet if it's a gen 1 they will fix or convert it for you free.

Quoted:
The revised trigger will have a total of 4 screws - 2 for the receiver fit, 1 on the trigger for overtravel (pre-set), and 1 on the disconnector (the original problematic trigger will not have the disconnector screw) which is also pre-set @ Timney.
