a little while back i remember a company was selling lightweight dissipator uppers. does anybody know which company this was or where I could find one?

Check with PK Firearms. I just got a Dissy barrel from them that has an M4 profile to it.

You may be able to make one if you get your hands on a 16" superlight and an A1 FSB.

J&T Distributing makes a Dissipator upper that is an A1 style barrel.

Lightweight under the handguard and out in front.

Price is $379.95 for the just the upper.
