Hello all - I have an RRA LAR-9 Complete Lower Half with a Gemtech Talon/Trinity complete upper. The Gemtech is a 51/2 inch threaded barrel. It was installed by my class 3's gunsmith. I am a beginning USPSA member getting ready to compete. I'm too old to win but not too old to have fun. I want to convert the 9mm into a .223. I'm told by my fellow members it's not complicated, just remove the 9mm barrel and replace with a .223 and remove whatever was placed inside the .223 mag holder and I'm in business.
