Can't comment on the lowers, which carry their own logo, but yes, the innards, uppers, and maybe some of the barrels are DPMS. They won't admit it publicly. A member who asked, was told that they couldn't violate supplier confidentiality, or some BS of that sort. Re the Legacy model, the barrels and stocks/HGs are government mil surp. The upper recievers are, or were, the DPMS current production; and if you're going to build one out of an upper assy of theirs, plan on using their cocking piece. Colt and other cocking handles won't fit the slot of the DPMS unit. While I haven't heard any complaints about their AR stuff, I wouldn't make the mistake of assuming that what they peddle in the AR world is automatically the same quality as the M14 clones. |
