Bought a new Bushy the other day. Changed the pistol grip out when finished I dry fired the rifle. After dry firing I tried to select safe mode but it wouldn't move, had to pull the charging handle cocking the gun to put it back in safe mode. Is this normal.

Did you put the spring and detent pin back in the new grip to keep the selector switch from flopping around?

They're pretty small and both are required for the rifle to work properly.  Lots of folks don't realize they are there when they change grips until things stop working.
