I am new to ar's and just bought a rra predator with a rra freefloat handgaurd.  I am wanting to know how to remove the free float tube to clean under it.  I was hunting this weekend and it started to rain and I know there is moisture under there.  If I remove the gas block and gas tube will the forearm just unscrew?  will I have issues reinstalling it?

Thanks
HMBONE

PS. Just dont want to screw anything up

Hose it off with CLP and drip dry or blow it off with a air hose................you dont need to tale it apart.  Use a garden hose and shoot it dry

Gunscrubber is your friend. Will displace the moisture, then evaporate. CLP if you want, the excess will burn off (that smoke billowing out of the front of the tube).
