Seen pics of it alone, but does anybody have one mounted on their AR?  Any real world experience would be great.  I'm debating on either a Phantom 5C2 or the Vltor.

I have the Phantom with closed bottom on my LMT M4 14.5

It does act like a BRAKE and does a great job on FLASH and CHEAP
when shooting MK262 I can see the gasses shoot out the top
pretty cool

with Black Hills 75/77 223 I dont see as MUCH

on my Back up bush/LMT M4 I have the OLDER 4 slot Phantom
it works okay but will kick up dust shooting prone LIKE VORTEX DOES

Here's a Vltor mounted on a Denny's/GTS 16" Recon barrel.

Thanks for the info and pics guys.  Will a bayonet fit on it?  I know a bayonet will work on a Phantom.

So is this a brake and a flash suppresor...?

I have one of the PK brakes from the group buy and I love it. I'm doing another SBR and I was thinkiiing of going with a brake but flash from a 10.5 may be too much.

This MAY be exactly what I was looking for............

Not a brake.  It's a flash suppressor that also functions somewhat as a compensator.

I think I saw on one of the industry partner's websites (I can't remember who), that when pinned and welded will make a 14.5" come up to a legal non-NFA 16"....and it is compatable with suppressors that mount on A2 flashhiders, true?

I'm very pleased with mine, and I may purchase another for a SBR project I have in mind. Works quite well at dark.

A Gem-Tech HALO will mount right on it. Just make sure you use a peel washer on it, so it creates a flat surface(If you care about timing the FS.) If not, thread it on without a peel washer. Do not use a crush washer, or lock washer if you plan to use a flash suppressor mounted can like the HALO.
