+ shipping + transfer = bit more that I would pay for a DPMS lower ETA - I am not bashing DPMS, I am just throwing out the reminder of shipping and transfer fee in addition to the price. If you look around locally, you will probbaly find a quality lower for much cheaper. Depends on where you live I guess. |
| Yea locally the only place I can get a lower a DPMS is $159 + tax and bushmaster is $200+ or more I would have to go 100 miles to get one for the low $100's just the lowest I have seen for a DPMS and wanted to pass it on.I guess anyone local to them could get a good deal. |
The market here in Georgia may not be typical, but the last show I was at (Cobb County) DPMS lowers were going for $150, and some shmuck wanted $200 for a Stag. In fairness, the batch of DPMS pieces I saw were the very best finished pieces I have ever seen from them; fully comparable to any Stag or Rock River jobs. Still, having paid $97 to $115 for lowers a year or two ago, and not being in the market for any new ones currently, I found it easy to pass them by
