I purchased this a couple months ago but I have yet to sight it inhoot Sorry about the picture size & quality, obviously I am not much of a photographer and this is the first post that I have included photos. I hope you enjoy looking; it's all I've been able to do! http://i176.photobucket.com/albums/w178/Spinoni/PICT0280.jpg http://i176.photobucket.com/albums/w178/Spinoni/PICT0260.jpg http://i176.photobucket.com/albums/w178/Spinoni/PICT02632.jpg |

Shotguns have been my game for a long time so I don't really know a lot about AR15's. This one just caught my eye and my wife didn't complain much when I told her about the rifle. How could I tell if the upper/lower fit is tight? Also, the Sabre instruction booklet said nothing about breaking in the barrel. How do I break in a stainless barrel with a 1 in 8 twist? Thanks for the help! |
- The fit between the upper and lower is of no concern. - Barrel break in: Shoot it MYTH BUSTED a long time ago. - For a longer lasting barrel shoot 10 rounds and let it cool, repeat. |

Gargoyle, Thanks for the response. I had a nice conversation with Sabre Defence about "barrel break-in". They essentially told me the same thing. They suggested shooting 10 rounds, clean, and let cool. Repeat a few times. Mostly, they just said don't worry too much about it, just shoot it and clean it. |
