I am picking up my POF Gen III 308 lower on monday and I want to put in a drop in trigger group, I want a single stage because I like the feel over the 2 stage, I wanted to know if anyone has had any experience with the Timney or the Chip Mccormick, I really like the flat Mccormick single stage, but I checked on Brownells and it looks like they dropped it and Brownells dose not drop a product for nothing.
Is the Timney a single or two stage trigger?

I have no experience with either but Chip McCormick has had some production issues as of late (at least w/their 1911 parts) and everyone is out of stock. That may have something to do with Brownell's dropping it.

The Timney is a single stage and available in 3# or 4# pull weight.  I don't have experience with it yet, but plan on trying one.

As far as trigger feel is concerned, Timney is hands down the nicer trigger from my experience of owning both.  We only sell Timney's now.

+1.  I have shot both and the Timney is by far the better of the 2.  You won't be dissappointed.
