[ARCHIVED THREAD] - SDM-R Question

I'm wrapping up my SDM-R build and was wondering if someone could tell me which rail panels are used on the real deal? Knights Armament, Tango Down? I have the DD rail so just want to make sure I have the proper panels.

I'm 99.5% sure the real deal would have KAC covers. I'm sure you could find plenty that were switched out to TD though.

To the best of my knowledge, KAC rail covers are the only rail covers that are in the DOD supply sytem. KAC panels are the only NSN listed in the Marine/Army -20 TM's for the M4/M-16 family of weapons.

If I am wrong, I'm sure someone will come along shortly and tell me.
